Uninsured Residents in Nevada are literally feeling the pain of our recent times. Between the years of 2007- 2008, one out of three people were without
insurance. Many of these people were unable to take their drug medications because they are either not working or their employees are not able to provide health coverage. These numbers continue to grow as the economy continues to worsen.

There were 841,000 uninsured people between this time frame and seventy six percent went without health coverage for at least 6 months. In 2011, the numbers seem to be getting worse and many of us are suffering in many ways. This becomes a major problem because millions of individuals are without prescription coverage.

There are assistance programs and discount cards out there that people can turn to.
