Vermont Rx Prescription Drug Card
The United States is the only developed nation that does not regulate drug prices. American consumers pay much more for their prescription drugs than any other country in the World. In fact, a 2003 study by the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration compared the U.S. prices of a list of fifty four prescription drugs with the prices in nine other countries and found that the prices in these nine other countries were eighteen to sixty seven % lower than the U.S. prices.
